What a great day! It was so much fun to have new and old friends join us for our firts Extreme Cowboy Race! We laughed alot, rode carefully (it was pretty muddy), made plans to do it again and enjoyed the adventure! We've decided to make a curcuit out of the Race next year, going from farm to farm! We will be having a meeting in late November or early December to get it on all of our calendars! We'll let you know when the meeting is as soon as we know! The winners of the Race were, Lauren Wahl in first place, and second place went to Ginny Kurth! The ladies just outrode the cowboys...this time! We have a challenge from Morgan and Kenny for the spring...they are going to help with the course and add a monetary added purse! This is going to be fun!
I want to thank Peggy Helland for all her work and organization. It would not have been nearly as much fun or smooth (or safe) without her! I also want to thank Chris, Brenda, Joanne, Jean, Tricia, Amy, John, Roy, Ethan, Hannah, Alicia, Cheri, John, Amanda, Tia, Emmi, Beth, Joyce, Travis, Trevor, Barb and Moe, Susan, Emily, Kevin, Roger, and all those who played any part in helping us present a wonderfulf event to our community! I had so many comments about what a wonderful team we have! Way to go you guys! You are glorifying God with your love walk and spirits of excellence! This Friday/Saturday we have a FREE Trail Riding Clinic with multiple all around world champion trainer, Patty Johnson! Starts at 4 p.m. and goes to noon the next day! We hope you can make it! Then, at 4:00 p.m. the same day, we are having a Not A Suprise Party for our dear friend and ferrier, Roger Olsen! Bring a story about him and a dish to pass! We want to give him a taste of the kindness he's shared with all of us! Plan to laugh and cry and celebrate the life of a great man! Roger is an An American Icon! He's a real Cowboy!
Again, thankyou! I love you all. We raised enough to pay for the balance of our hay for this winter! That's one need checked off the list! I know that all of our needs are met according to His riches in Christ Jesus! He is our source!
